CPSC and Small Beginnings Inc. Announce Recall of "Pacee" Pacifiers
Small Beginnings Inc., of Hesperia, Calif.
Hazard
The pacifiers failed CPSC testing standards. These pacifiers present a choking hazard to infants.
Remedy
Consumers should take the pacifiers away from infants immediately, and return them to the firm for a refund.
Sold at
Various hospitals and medical supply distributors sold these pacifiers nationwide, from October 1999 through April 2000, for about $1.
Affected count
About 16,000
Injuries reported
CPSC and Small Beginnings are not aware of any injuries involving these pacifiers. This recall is being conducted to prevent the possibility of injury.
