CPSC, Gymboree Announce Recall of Children's Fleece Pants

The Gymboree Corp. (Gymboree®), of Burlingame, Calif.
Hazard

The cord locks on the pants can break off, posing a choking hazard to young children.

Remedy
Consumers should take these pants away from children immediately and return them to any Gymboree store for a full refund.
Sold at
Gymboree's website and stores nationwide sold these pants, from September 2000 through February 2001, for about $15.

About 125,000
Injuries reported
Gymboree has received one report of a cord lock that broke off, and was found in a child's mouth. The child's parent was present and removed the lock from the child's mouth. No injuries have been reported.
