CPSC, Walgreen Co. Announce Recall of Candele Glitter Candles
Walgreen Co., of Deerfield, Ill.
Hazard
The glitter on the candles can ignite, posing a fire hazard.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using the candles immediately and contact Walgreens for a refund.
Sold at
Walgreens stores nationwide sold the candles, from August 2001 through December 2001, for between $3 and $4.

About 50,500
Injuries reported
Walgreens received one report of the glitter on the candle catching fire. No injuries or property damage have been reported.
