CPSC, Intercon Merchandising Source Announce Recall of Mini Beach Chairs Given with "Time Out" Cosmetics at Sears

Hazard

The chairs can collapse, posing crush and amputation hazards to consumer's fingers and toes.

Remedy
Consumer should stop using these mini beach chairs immediately and contact Intercon for a free repair.
Sold at
Sears stores nationwide distributed the mini beach chairs, with the purchase of $20 worth Time Out cosmetics, from June 2000 through August 2000.

Injuries reported
CPSC and Intercon are aware of one incident, in which the tip of a 3-year old girl's finger was amputated, when the chair collapsed.
