CPSC, Discovery Toys Announce Recall of Children's Toy
Discovery Toys, of Livermore, Ca.
Hazard
The plastic tubes can break from the wooden base, releasing beads, posing a choking hazard to young children.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using the toy immediately and contact Discovery Toys to receive a free replacement. Purchasers were sent direct mail notification of this recall.
Sold at
Discovery Toys' Educational Consultants sold the recalled toy nationwide, from July 2001 to January 2002.

About 21,000
Injuries reported
Discovery Toys has received nine reports of the tubes breaking. No injuries have been reported.
