CPSC, S&G Enterprises, Inc. Announce Recall of Statue of Liberty Cigarette Lighters
S&G Enterprises, of New York, N.Y.
Hazard
The lighters do not have child-resistant mechanisms, as required by federal law. Young children could ignite the lighters, presenting fire and burn hazards.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using these lighters immediately and contact S&G Enterprises, Inc., to receive a full refund.
Sold at
The lighters were sold nationwide, from May 1999 to May 2001, for $9.95.
