CPSC and Carlisle Co. Announce Recall of Snake Lights

The Carlisle Co. Inc., of Carson City, Nev.
Hazard

The circuit board in the lamps can overheat and melt the plastic housing, posing a fire or thermal burn hazard to consumers.

Remedy
Consumers should stop using these lights immediately, unplug them, and return them to any Chuck E. Cheese restaurant for a replacement prize of the same value.
Sold at
Chuck E. Cheese's restaurants nationwide provided the lights as a redemption prize, from July 2002 through September 2002.

Injuries reported
The Carlisle Co. has received one report of the plastic base melting, though no injuries have been reported.
