CPSC, Target Corp. Announce Recall of Men's Sweatshirts
Trends Clothing Corp., of Miami, Fla.
Hazard
The fleece fabric on the inside of these sweatshirts fails to meet federal mandatory standards of fabric flammability, because it can ignite readily if exposed to flame, and therefore presents a serious risk of burn injuries, in violation of the Federal Flammable Fabrics Act.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop wearing these sweatshirts and return them to the store where purchased, for a full refund.
Sold at
Target Stores nationwide sold the sweatshirts, from August 2002 through September 2002, for about $25.

Injuries reported
CPSC and Target are not aware of any injuries involving these sweatshirts. This recall is being conducted to prevent the possibility of injuries.
