Hazard
These saws can operate while the engine is at the "idle" setting, posing a risk of serious lacerations to the operator and bystanders.
Remedy
Contact Homelite to find the nearest Homelite-authorized service center for a free throttle adjustment. The stores where these chainsaws were purchased do not provide this service.
Sold at
Home and hardware stores nationwide sold these chainsaws, from December 2002 through February 2003, for about $200.
