CPSC, Blason International Trading Corp. Announce Recall of Hand-Held Hair Dryers

Blason International Trading Corp., of Miami, Fla.
Hazard

Some of these hair dryers do not have an immersion protection device on the power cord and could present a serious electrocution hazard, if dropped in water.

Remedy
Return the hair dryer to Blason International Trading Corp., for a refund.
Sold at
Retail drug stores and hair accessories and salon retail operations, from May 2002 through June 2003, for about $40.
