CPSC, Lands' End, Inc., Announce Recall of Little Kids' Parkas

Hazard

The zipper box may detach, allowing the zipper slide to detach. The small parts, if detached, could pose a risk of choking.

Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using this product and contact Lands' End. Many purchasers were contacted directly by letter and provided with a replacement parka. If you have not received a letter regarding this product, please contact Lands' End to discuss the return, refund or replacement of your child's parka.
Sold at
The parkas were sold through the Lands' End catalog, web site and certain Sears, Roebuck and Co. retail stores, from November 2002 through mid-January 2003, for $79.50 or below.

Approximately 6,000
Injuries reported
Lands' End, Inc. has received reports of the zipper detaching, but no injuries have been reported.
