CPSC, Shindaiwa Inc. Announce Recall of Hedge Trimmers

Hazard
The fuel cap on the hedge trimmer can leak, posing a fire and burn hazard.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using the hedge trimmer and return the red fuel cap to the dealer for a replacement cap.
Sold at
Shindaiwa dealers nationwide, from August 1997 to August 2003, for between $370 and $450 depending on the model.
