CPSC, Russound Inc. Announce Recall to Repair Audio Video Controller/Amplifiers

Hazard
The Controller/Amplifiers can short circuit and overheat, posing a risk of injury to consumers.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product and the outlet. Dealers and installers will contact consumers directly to arrange for a free repair. Consumers who have not been contacted directly should call their dealer/installer or Russound.
Sold at
Electronics distributors and resellers and audio/video retailers nationwide sold the controller/amplifiers, between May 2003 and September 2003, for about $2,200.
