CPSC, Advantage Publishers Group Announce Recall of Children's Activity Books

Advantage Publishers Group, of San Diego, Calif.
Hazard

The hub of the pink dial embedded in the inside back cover can come off during use in some of these books, posing a choking hazard to young children.

Remedy
Consumers should immediately take these books away from young children and call Advantage Publishers Group to order a replacement activity book without the dial.
Sold at
Retail stores, national book chains, wholesalers and distributors, and membership warehouse clubs nationwide sold the activity books, from May through October 2003, for $16.

About 5,300
Injuries reported
Advantage Publishers Group received one report from a consumer of a hub coming off. There are no reports of injuries or choking incidents.
