CPSC, Browning Announce Recall of Flashlight Batteries

Hazard

The batteries can short out, causing the flashlight's canister to rupture and pose injury to the consumer.

Remedy
Consumer should remove the batteries from the flashlights and contact Browning for information on receiving a refund or replacement.
Sold at
The flashlights were sold at hunting and sporting goods stores nationwide during December 2003, for about $50.

There have been two reports of the flashlights rupturing. No injuries have been reported.
