CPSC, Kmart Corporation Announce Recall of Pool Pump Water Guns

Kmart Corporation, of Troy, Mich.
Hazard

The cone-shaped nozzle can unexpectedly come off the water gun and be propelled, causing injury.

Remedy
Consumers should stop using the water guns and return them to a Kmart store for a full refund.
Sold at
Kmart stores nationwide, from January 2004 through June 2004, for about $2.

About 38,600
Injuries reported
There have been four reports of injuries to children, including cuts and bruises to the face and head.
