CPSC, Polaris Industries Inc. Announce Recall of Accessory Skis for Snowmobiles
Polaris Industries Inc., of Medina, Minn.
Hazard
The accessory skis sold for Polaris snowmobiles could break, resulting in injury or death.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using their snowmobiles immediately if they have installed red accessory skis and bring the skis or snowmobile to their Polaris dealer for replacement.
Sold at
Polaris dealerships worldwide, from November 2001 through December 15, 2003, for between $78 and $125 per ski.
