CPSC, Marshall Field's Announce Recall of Fire Pit Spark Screen
Target Corporation, of Minneapolis, Minn. (Marshall Field's is a division of Target Corporation)
Hazard
The fire pit spark screen can catch fire when it comes into direct contact with a flame, posing a burn and fire hazard to consumers.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using the spark screens immediately and return them to any Marshall Field's store for a full refund.
Sold at
Marshall Field's stores in Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan and one store in Wisconsin, and on the company's Web site, from January 2004 through May 2004, for about $50.

Marshall Field's has received three reports of the spark screen catching fire. No injuries or property damage have been reported.
