CPSC, Belkin Corp. Announce Recall of Rackmount Uninterruptible Power Supplies
Belkin Corp., of Compton, Calif.
Hazard
The UPS outputs were wired incorrectly, creating a reverse polarity configuration and a potential electrical shock hazard to consumers.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the unit and contact Belkin Corp. for a free replacement unit.
Sold at
Electronics distributors and retailers, from September 2003 through June 2004, for between $560 and $1360.
