CPSC, NBTY Inc. Announce Recall of Multivitamins
NBTY Inc., of Bohemia, N.Y.
Hazard
The vitamins contain iron, but do not have child-resistant packaging, as required by federal law. They could cause serious injury or death if ingested by a child.
Remedy
Consumers should keep this product out of the reach of children and return it to the store where it was purchased or contact NBTY for information on receiving a refund or replacement.
Sold at
Various drug and grocery stores and independent distributors nationwide, from July 2004 through March 2005, for about $4.
