CPSC, Deere & Company Announce Recall of Gator HPX Utility Vehicles

Hazard

Loss of brake system pressure can decrease the effectiveness of the brakes.

Remedy
Consumers should contact a John Deere dealer for a free repair of the master brake cylinder.
Sold at
Authorized John Deere dealers nationwide, from December 2003 to October 2004, for between $8,000 and $10,600.

Deere is aware of 14 instances of replacement of the master brake cylinder, due to this problem. There have been no reported injuries.
