CPSC, WaveCrest Laboratories LLC Announce Recall of Electric Bicycles

Hazard
The front and/or rear wheel can collapse, causing the rider to fall and suffer injuries.
Remedy
Consumers should stop riding the electric bicycle immediately and contact WaveCrest Laboratories, if they purchased an electric bicycle with affected wheels. WaveCrest Laboratories will replace affected wheels at no cost to the consumer.
Sold at
Authorized TidalForce High Performance Electric Bicycle dealers nationwide, between May 2005 and June 2005, for about $2,500.
