CPSC, Target Announce Recall of Pillar Candles With Jewels
Pacific Trade International Inc., of Rockville, Md.
Hazard
The paint coating on the outside of the candle can ignite, posing a fire hazard.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using the candles immediately and return them to the nearest Target store for a Target GiftCard worth the value of the returned candle.
Sold at
Target stores nationwide during the month of August 2005 for about $5 or $8, depending on the size.
