CPSC, Porter-Cable Announce Recall to Repair Circular Saws
Porter-Cable, of Jackson, Tenn.
Hazard
The lower guard on these saws could stick in the open position, posing a risk of severe lacerations to consumers.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using the circular saws immediately and contact Porter-Cable for the location of the nearest service center to receive a free inspection and repair, if necessary.
Sold at
Major home center and hardware stores nationwide from March 2004 through November 2005 for between $130 and $160, depending on the model.
