CPSC, Kids II Inc. Announce Recall of Doorway Baby Jumpers
Kids II Inc., of Alpharetta, Ga.
Hazard
The plastic clamp that attaches the jumper seat to a door frame can break, which can cause the unit and child to fall to the floor. This poses an injury hazard to young children.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using the product immediately and contact Kids II for information on receiving a free replacement.
Sold at
Discount department and juvenile specialty stores nationwide from January 2005 through November 2005 for about $20.

Kids II has received nine reports of the clamp breaking with three reports of injuries, including a bruised forehead, chin and foot.
