Yamaha In-Ceiling and In-Wall Speakers Recalled After Reports of Units Falling
Yamaha Electronics Corporation, of Buena Park, Calif.
Hazard
On some speakers, the mounting clamps can break causing the speaker to fall. Falling speakers could possibly hit consumers.
Remedy
Consumers should contact Yamaha to determine whether their speakers are subject to this recall, and if so, how to get free replacement speakers.
Sold at
Audiovisual and electronic entertainment stores nationwide from January 2006 through March 2006 for about $180 (NS-IW360C) or $350 (NS-IW660).

Injuries reported
Yamaha has received 14 reports of falling speakers. No injuries have been reported.
