Gel Candles Recalled By M & A Global Technologies Due to Fire Hazard
M & A Global Technologies Inc., doing business as Spa at Home, of Tallahassee, Fla.
Hazard
The candles can have excessive flame height, posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the candles and contact M & A Global Technologies for instructions on returning the product.
Sold at
Spa at Home stores and Spaathome.com nationwide from October 2003 through December 2003 and October 2005 through December 2005 for between $9 and $50.

Injuries reported
M & A Global Technologies has received seven reports of flames coming in contact with nearby combustibles resulting in minor fires, smoke and soot damage. There have been four reports of burn injuries to consumer's hands.
