Mastex Recalls Foot Warmer Due to Burn Hazard

Hazard
The wiring in the foot warmer has a defect, which can cause it to overheat. This poses a burn hazard to consumers.
Remedy
The firm is out of business and a remedy is no longer available. Consumers should stop using these foot warmers immediately and discard or destroy them.

Specialty and gift catalogs nationwide from September 2006 through October 2006 for about $40.

Mastex has received five reports of foot warmers overheating. No injuries have been reported.
