Discount School Supply Recalls Paint Brushes Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard

Surface paint on the brush handles can contain excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.

Remedy
Consumers should stop using the brushes immediately and contact Discount School Supply to receive a free replacement brush set.
Sold at
Discount School Supply's catalog and Web site from May 2004 through August 2007 for about $5. The BioColor® kits were sold from May 2004 through June 2006 for about $60. The Colorations® kits were sold from July 2006 through August 2007 for about $60.
