Cherrydale Fundraising Recalls Bracelets Due to Risk of Lead Exposure
Cherrydale Fundraising, of Allentown, Pa.
Hazard
The bracelets contain high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bracelets and keep them away from young children. Return them to the store where purchased or contact the firm to receive a full refund.
Sold at
Various dollar stores, liquidators, and schools as part of fundraising, nationwide from September 2003 through April 2007 for between $1 and $12.
