American Greetings Corp. Recalls Confetti Bursts Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard

The surface paint on the individual bags of confetti contains excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.

Remedy
Consumers should immediately take the recalled confetti bursts away from children and contact American Greetings for instructions on returning the confetti bursts to American Greetings to receive a coupon redeemable wherever American Greetings' products are sold.

Discount, toy, drug, grocery, party, and specialty/gift stores nationwide from December 2003 through September 2007 for about $3.
