Surface paint on the magnets can contain high levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using these products and contact American Scientific to receive a free replacement.
Sold at
Independent distributors nationwide from October 2006 through February 2008 for between $1 and $4.
