ATVs Recalled By KYMCO Due to Suspension Failure; Riders Can Lose Control of Vehicle
KYMCO USA, of Spartanburg, S.C.
Hazard
The pivot bolts holding the rear suspension onto the frame can become loose, causing the rear swing arm to detach from the chassis, posing a risk of injury or death to the operator.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ATVs and contact an authorized KYMCO dealer in their area to schedule a free repair. Registered owners were sent direct mail notification of this recall.
Sold at
KYMCO dealers nationwide from November 2006 through December 2007 for between $6,000 and $6,500.
