Miracle Recreation Recalls Tire Swings Due to Fall Hazard
Miracle Recreation Equipment Co., of Monett, Mo.
Hazard
The hanger clamp on the tire swing can fail, causing the tire swing to detach. This poses a fall hazard to young children and risk of serious injury.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately remove the tire swing, including the swivel, chains and tire from the hanger clamp until a free repair kit is installed. The company has sent direct mail notices to consumers.
Sold at
Authorized dealers to schools, parks and municipalities nationwide from February 1995 through March 2008 for between $570 and $2,100.

Miracle Recreation Equipment Co. has received three reports of injuries, including two reports of cuts requiring stitches and one report of a fractured foot.
