Children's Flip Flops Recalled by Alpargatas Due to Violation of Lead in Paint Standard

Decorative paint on the sole of the flip flops can contain levels of lead in excess of the federal standard.

Remedy
Consumers should immediately take the recalled flip flops away from children and return them to Alpargatas USA, Inc. to receive a replacement.
Sold at
Department and specialty stores nationwide from November 2006 through February 2009 for about $15 to $24 a pair.
