Girl's Hooded Sweatshirts Recalled by Ely and Walker Due to Strangulation Hazard
Ely and Walker, of Lebanon, Tenn.
Hazard
The sweatshirts have a drawstring through the hood, which can pose a strangulation hazard to children.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts to eliminate the hazard. Consumers can also return the garment to either the place of purchase or to Ely and Walker for a full refund.
Sold at
Department and apparel retail stores nationwide from April 2007 through April 2009 for between $19 and $24.
