Murray Riding Lawn Mowers Recalled By Briggs & Stratton Power Products Group Due to Fire and Burn Hazards
Briggs & Stratton Power Products Group LLC, of Wauwatosa, Wis.
Hazard
The two-piece fuel tanks on the riding mowers can separate at the seam, causing fuel to leak. This can pose fire and burn hazards to consumers.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mower and contact the dealer from which it was purchased for a free repair.
Sold at
Various riding lawnmower dealers nationwide from April 2008 through September 2008 for about $950.
