Watts Water Technologies Recalls Rotor and Shaft Assemblies Due to Fire Hazard
Watts Water Technologies Inc., of North Andover, Mass.
Hazard
If the assembly was installed in a fire suppression system and remained in a closed position, sufficient water might not have been available in the event of a fire. This posed a fire hazard to consumers.
Remedy
Distributors, contractors and consumers with the recalled rotor and shaft assemblies were contacted directly and the affected units were replaced.
Sold at
Distributors and contractors from December 2007 through August 2008 for about $420.
