Chrome Shelving Recalled by King Long Metal Due to Injury Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Costco
King Long Metal Industrial Company, Ltd., of Trumbull, Conn.
Hazard
Shelving unit casters can break at the stem causing the unit to collapse or fall, posing an injury hazard.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately remove the casters and use the shelving unit with the adjustable feet levelers included in the original package. Replacement casters are available from the firm.
Sold at
Costco Wholesale Club locations nationwide from December 2009 through January 2010 for about $90.
