Gund Recalls to Replace Baby Books Due to Choking Hazard

The foam used to fill the book binding can detach, posing a choking/aspiration hazard to infants and young children.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately take the books away from young children and contact Gund for a free replacement product.
Sold at
Gift and specialty stores nationwide from January 2009 through March 2010 for about $8 and $20 for the set.

About 15,100 in the United States and 865 in Canada
Injuries reported
Gund has received three reports of children mouthing the foam that detached from the books. No injuries have been reported.
