Risk of Strangulation Prompts Recall to Repair Roman Shades; Sold Exclusively by Restoration Hardware Baby & Child

Hazard
Strangulation can occur when a child places his/her neck between the exposed inner cord and the fabric on the backside of the blind or when a child pulls the cord out and wraps it around his/her neck.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using these Roman shades and contact Restoration Hardware Baby & Child to receive a free repair kit. All known purchasers have been contacted by the firm. The free repair kit will be available within six weeks.
Sold at
Restoration Hardware Baby & Child stores and catalog nationwide and on the Web site from June 2008 through August 2009 for between about $110 and $250.
