Alpha Industries Recalls Children's Hooded Sweatshirts with Drawstrings Due to Strangulation Hazard
Alpha Industries, of Chantilly, Va.
Hazard
The hooded sweatshirts have drawstrings through the hoods which can pose a strangulation or entrapment hazard to children.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the hoods of the sweatshirts to eliminate the hazard or return them to the place of purchase or Alpha Industries for a full refund.
Sold at
Department stores and juvenile product stores nationwide from August 2009 through February 2010 for between $28 and $42.
