Le Creuset Recalls Glass Lids Due to Laceration Hazard

Hazard
The glass lids can crack or break during use, posing a laceration hazard to consumers.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using these lids immediately and return them to Le Creuset for a full refund of the purchase price.
Sold at
Le Creuset and other retailers nationwide from October 2010 through January 2011 for $20 for individual glass lids and $160 when part of a casserole set.

About 1,800
Injuries reported
Le Creuset has received five reports of lids breaking in use. No injuries have been reported.
