Maruyama U.S. Recalls Backpack Blowers and Mister Dusters Due to Fire Hazard

The gasoline tank can split and leak fuel, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to the nearest dealer for a free replacement fuel tank.

Authorized service dealers nationwide from April 2008 through December 2010 for between $320 and $820.

About 18,000 in the United States and 750 in Canada
Injuries reported
Maruyama has received 25 reports of leaking tanks. No injuries have been reported.
