Kingsman Fireplaces Recalls Gas Fireplaces Due to Laceration Hazard

Hazard
Delayed ignition can cause the fireplace's propane gas to explode and break or shatter the glass door. This poses a laceration hazard to consumers nearby.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled fireplaces and turn off the gas supply to the fireplace. Contact Kingsman Fireplaces to schedule a free repair.
Sold at
Authorized distributors and specialty fireplace stores nationwide from April 2008 through December 2010 for between $1,700 and $2,900.

Kingsman Fireplaces has received two reports of fireplace glass doors breaking. No injuries have been reported.
