Nidec Motor Corporation Recalls Pool Pump Motors Due to Electrical Shock Hazard
Nidec Motor Corporation, of St. Louis, Mo.
Hazard
The pump cover is not properly grounded posing an electrical shock hazard.
Remedy
Customers should stop using the recalled pool pumps immediately and call Nidec Motor Corporation to arrange a free repair.
Sold at
Pool motor distributors, pool dealers and pump manufacturers nationwide from September 2010 through August 2011 for about $1,000.
