Gerber Legendary Blades Recalls Hunting Knife Sets Due to Laceration Hazard
Gerber® Legendary Blades, of Portland, Ore.
Hazard
The latching mechanism for the knife's interchangeable blades can unexpectedly fail and release the blade. This poses a laceration hazard to consumers.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled knife sets and contact the firm for a free replacement product of equal or higher value.
Sold at
Sporting goods stores nationwide from July 2011 through September 2011 for about $20.
