Club Car Recalls Golf Cars Due to Fuel Leak and Fire Hazard

The fuel tank seam can separate and allow fuel to leak, posing a fire hazard.

Remedy
Consumers should stop using the recalled golf cars and contact Club Car for a free inspection and replacement of the fuel tank. The firm is directly contacting consumers who purchased the golf cars.

Authorized Club Car dealers nationwide from April 2011 through May 2011 for between $8,000 and $9,200.

Club Car has received three reports of incidents involving fuel tank seams splitting. No injuries or fires have been reported.
