Summit Treestands Recalls Hunters' Tree Stands Due to Fall Hazard
Summit Treestands, LLC, of Decatur, Ala.
Hazard
The tree stand's hanging strap assembly could dislodge from the tree stand or fail to restrain or hold properly on the tree, posing a fall hazard.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled tree stands and contact Summit Treestands to receive a free replacement hanging strap assembly.
Sold at
Hunting stores and in catalogs such as Bass Pro Shops and others nationwide from July 2012 through August 2012 for between $70 to $100.
