Briggs & Stratton Recalls Ariens Compact Snow Blowers Due to Fire Hazard
Briggs & Stratton Corporation, of Milwaukee, Wis.
Hazard
The snow blower's carburetor bowl nut can allow gas to escape from the unit.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the product and return it to an authorized Briggs and Stratton dealer for a repair.
Sold at
Ariens dealers and The Home Depot nationwide from August through September 2012 for about $800 to $1000.
